2011 Dodge Ball Tournament March 19, 2011

The Boys and Girls Club was filled to the rafters with would-be dodgeball champions on March 19,2011. Although the atmosphere was light-hearted, competition was fierce. Many teams agonized over costume choices and names, with clever and humorous results. It was a close race, but the Irish Car Bombers won the for best costume and Pink McLovin’ for best team name. While most of the teams ended up nursing their wounds (and bruises!), victory was sweet for Team Real Fitness, who took home the prize in the co-ed division. And for the Average Joes, the open division championship was a return to the summit. The driving force behind the day was Christopher Donovan, who worked tirelessly to make sure that the tournament was the largest in the event’s five year history. Proceeds of the event will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Naples. Thanks to everyone who participated.
