Maltese

The Maltese is a small, hardy dog with silky hair. Maltese need a daily walk and played with. They can live up to about 15 or more years it may live as long as 18, but it is important to keep it out of the damp. It is important to comb and brush daily.

Beagle

The Beagle is a sturdy, hardy little hound dog that looks like a miniature Foxhound. The Beagle is loving, sweet and gentle, happy to see everyone, greeting them with a wagging tail. It is sociable, brave and intelligent. The Beagle is excellent with children and generally good with other dogs. They can live up to 12-15 years.

German Shepard

The German Shepard Dog is well proportioned and very strong. They are relatively inactive indoors and do best with at least a large yard. This breed sheds bits of hair all over your home. Bathe only when necessary; over bathing can cause skin irritation from oil depletion.

Great Dane

The Great Dane is a giant, powerful dog. Square in body, but females may be slightly longer than tall. The Great Dane will do okay in an apartment if it is sufficiently exercised. It is relatively inactive indoors and does best with at least a large yard. The Great Dane needs plenty of exercise. It needs to be taken on a daily long walk. The average is under 10 years, however some can live to be 12-13 years old.

Bull Dog

The Bulldog is a small statured, medium-sized dog, and as its name suggests, it was originally bred for working with bulls. More to the point, the Bulldog was trained and bred to fight bulls for sport, beginning in England in the 1200s and throughout Europe until the mid 1800s. 

Golden Retriever

The Golden Retriever is a sturdy, medium-large sized dog. The skull is broad and the muzzle is straight, tapering slightly with a well-defined stop. The nose is black or a brownish black. The teeth meet in a scissors bite. The medium to large eyes are dark brown. The relatively short ears hang down close to the cheeks. When pulled forward the tip of the ear should just cover the eye. The tail is thick at the base with feathering along the underside. Dewclaws may be removed. The water-resistant coat is dense with a firm, straight or wavy outer coat. There is an untrimmed feathering on the underbelly, back of the legs, front of the neck and underside of the tail. Coat color comes in cream to a rich golden. Chihuahua

A Chihuahua is the smallest breed of dog and is named for the state of Chihuahua in Mexico. Chihuahuas come in a wide variety of sizes, shapes, colors, and coat lengths. They can live up to 15-20 years
