• Pre-negotiated discount eliminates need for bidding
• Ease of use: requires only submission of an authorized Order Form and a PG entry in FMS

CITYWIDE CONTRACT FOR SUN MAINTENANCE
Contract Highlights
• Sun Authorized Maintenance for Hardware and Software
• Offers 52% discount off list prices for all Levels Of Service
• Freezing of yearly costs if no LOS changes
• Requires multi-year commitment to maintenance
• Currently in use by 7 agencies
• Continued availability dependent on extension or replacement of Sun’s recently expired NYS Contract For Maintenance
• Savings to date beyond agencies’ prior discounts: $2,393,530.
CITYWIDE CONTRACT FOR CISCO MAINTENANCE
Contract Highlights
• Three year contract to June 30, 2008; with two ext years
• CISCO Authorized Maintenance for Hardware and Software
• Offers 25% discount off CISCO maintenance list prices for all Levels Of Service
• Freezing yearly costs if no changes to LOS
• One-time LOS Adjustment Window at beginning of 4th yr
• Requires multi-year commitment to maintenance
• Invoicing fiscal year based
• Currently in use by 18 agencies
• Savings to date beyond agencies prior discounts: $552,197.
