Step 1Cut out 2 dress patterns (one front and one back) and 2 sleeves from pattern. Place one sleeve on dress front (right sides together) and sew on the curve.

Step 2Repeat with the other sleeve.

Step 3Repeat the same thing for the back dress pattern. It should look like this when you have sewn both sleeves to the front and the back dress pieces.

Step 4Hem the sleeves ¼ inches and sew.

Step 5Thread elastic through the sleeve hem. I used 4 inches for each sleeve.

Step 6Pin and sew up each sides of the dress. Then hem the bottom of the dress.

Step 7Press and sew a ½ inch casing for the elastic at the neckline. Insert a 12 inch piece of ¼ inch elastic and then sew the casing closed.
