Section One
Training Objective Measurable Outcomes
Teachers will receive
professional development
on the VCONN system at
their campus.
Teachers will demonstrate their
ability to set-up the VCONN
system with assistance from the
Campus Technology Integration
Specialist
Teachers will complete an online
evaluation online through My
Learning Plan.
Section Two
Training Objective Measurable Outcomes
Teachers will collaborate
on writing set-up for peer
review of writing
selections using VCONN.
Evidence will be presented by action
plans create by the teachers and
literacy coaches.
Section Three
Training Objective Measurable Outcomes
Teachers will learn about digital
citizenship.
•Teachers will complete a pre- and post- tests
on digital citizenship using Turning Point
technology. It will instantly record information
and measure the difference in learning gained
through instruction.
•Teachers will use Turning Point technology in
their classrooms and evidence will be provided
in lesson plans. They may wish to schedule
collaborative appoints campus TIS to support
their learning during the classroom lessons.
Section Four

Campuses will host
VCONN Peer Review
sessions
•Writing TAKS scores and
benchmark scores will be used as
evidence to monitor growth from
the selected student pool.
•Principal walk-through on
Blackberry for technology use in
the classroom.
Section Five
Training Objective Measurable Outcomes
Teachers will receive
training on Twitter
accounts
•Teachers will demonstrate their ability
to set-up the twitter accounts with
assistance from the Campus
Technology Integration Specialist.
•Teachers will complete an online
evaluation online through My Learning
Plan.
Section Six
Training Objective Measurable Outcomes
Students will learn how to
use twitter to collaborate
on writing.
•Teachers and campus specialists will
monitor the twitter accounts. Data will
be reviewed for cognitive shifts and
writing improvement.
•Principal walk-through on Blackberry
for technology use in the classroom.
