Donnelly College-BizFest Scholarship
Important Information Eligibility & Deadlines
Prospective Donnelly College-BizFest Scholarship Students from KC BizFest 2015
Basic Eligibility Requirements:
o Have successfully completed the KC BizFest 2015 program; o Be eligible for graduation from a Kansas or Missouri high school in May 2015;
If the above requirements are met, to be considered for the scholarship, the student must complete the following
before April 1, 2015:
Apply for admission online at www.donnelly.edu Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with Donnellys school
code listed (001914) OR if ineligible to complete the FAFSA, complete the Institutional
Aid Application (attached)
Recommendation letter (from teacher, counselor, or coach) Official transcript with cumulative GPA listed Response to admissions essay (250 words or more):
Describe where you see yourself in five years and how you are going to get there.
Take the Compass placement exam and receive a minimum Reading score of 74 and Writing Score of 64. (Comparable scores from the ACT will be accepted.)
If the applicant is offered and accepts the scholarship, he/she must:
o Provide an official post-graduation high school transcript with graduation date; o Must maintain a 3.0 GPA enrolled full-time (12 credit-hour minimum) o Must maintain continuous enrollment (except summers) to be eligible for scholarship; o Pay for any retaken classes due to withdrawals and/or failing grades; o Be an active member of Latinos of Tomorrow (LOTs) and one Donnelly College student
organization.
o Participate in Donnelly Colleges Peer Mentoring Program.
