Our Expertise
Introducing 5D – A New Solution
Cost Modelling
– Dynamic interactive BiM cost models from 2D drawings
– BiM models produced for all sectors of construction and engineering
– BiM process can be used at any stage of the project development
– Cost Plans, Estimates and Bills of Quantities are automatically populated
– Simple and quick change quantification
Process Explained
1. We construct a model from CAD
drawings, specifications and other
information available
2. We digitally measure geometric
information to produce accurate
quantities
3. We link the quantity information
with project specific Bills of
Quantities and Cost Plans
4. We create client specific reports.

CASE STUDY Example:
Station Shafts and Tunnels
Estimate for Shafts and Tunnels
HC BiM QS were appointed to undertake the production of estimates for the
new Crossrail station at Whitechapel along with the associated shafts and
tunnels.
Subsequently we were requested to value various engineering options. As the
BiM model is dynamically linked to the requisite quantities we were able to
quantify each option quickly.

Case Study
Bill of Quantities for New Build School
HC BiM QS were appointed to produce the of bills of
quantities for all sections of the building works including the
external works for a client who was tendering for the works.
Using the BiM cost modelling process we produced the full
bill of quantities for the school within the 4 week timeframe

HC BiM QS Modelling provides:
1. Speed and Efficiency
– The system is being used on live projectsproviding time and cost savings
2. Flexibility
– The system can incorporate changes in designand specifications quickly
3. Clarity
– The quantities and changes can be checkedlive in BiM Model, providing traceability
4. Accuracy
– Digital BiM models are created and linked todesign drawings
