Abstract.Memoriesfromthepastorthefuture,collectiveorpersonal,instinctsorknowledgeacquiredovertime.Thesetopicsarecoveredinthisaudiovisualperformanceofapproximately45minutes,performedlivethroughaninterfacecreatedbytheartist.Thisinstrumentsymbolizeslinksthatoccurinthehumanbrain:synapses,whichareconnectionsbetweenneuronsinordertoallowtheencodingofinformationacquiredbythesenses,recordingofthesethroughouttime,inadditiontoservingasasourceforourmemories.Theperformancedealswithsensationsandfeelingsthatsomehowpassthroughmemory,throughabstractions,imagesandsoundsthatarepartoftheformingprocessofthesememories,whichduringlifeshapeourpersonalityandaffectivity.Keywords:audiovisualinterface,generative,HOL,audiovisualperformance,custom-madeinstrument,visualmusic,abstractart,lasers,arduino,acoustic.Introduction

Theinstrumenthas3guitarstringsandapickupinsideitsbow.TheacousticpartisindependentfromthedigitalandsendsitssignaltoanEHXguitarpedal.Thedigitalpartismadeofanarduinomegathatgetstheinputfrom20connectorsandsendsthemtothecomputer,wherethisinformationcontrolstheaudioandvisualelementsoftheperformance. UsingjumpersIconnecttwoinputsandthemax/msppatchgetsthisdataandusesitaccordingtothepartofthepieceI'mplaying.ItcanchangethepartoftheperformanceI'mplaying,controlvisualandaudioelements,accordingtomypreviousmadecode.Ialsouseacustom-madelaserinstrumentthatisplayedusingamiditrackfromabletonLive.Midiinformationpassesthroughamax/msppatchthatcontrolsthepositionoftheservoswherelaserpointersaremountedonandthetriggeringofthelasers.ThiswayIcangetaveryaccuratesynchronizationbetweenthelasersandtheotherelementsoftheshow.
