WELCOME TO CHATTANOOGA!
WELCOME TO CHATTANOOGA!On behalf of the AFS Tennessee Chapter, it is with great pleasure to welcome you to Chattanooga and the 81st AFS Southeastern Regional Conference! My wife Rhonda and I hope you enjoy your time here in the Scenic City and experience why the New York Times named Chattanooga one of the “Top 45 Places to go” in the world.
This 81st Anniversary Southeastern Regional Conference is the result of many hours of volunteer work by our much esteemed Presenters, the Regional Planning Committee members, Advantage Printing, the great staff and our friends at the Chattanoogan Hotel, the great Southern Belle Riverboat, and the courtesy of Signal Mountain Golf & Country Club.
We have chosen a theme for this year’s regional as “Pathway to Progress: Casting the Future”. We as a committee feel the future is very important to our industry. We felt the best way to assure our future is through improving leadership, communication, strategic planning, teamwork, and education. You hopefully will find this conference provides the information and unveils new ideas for you to provide a “Pathway to Progress” for your organization.
Many Corporate Sponsors and Advertisers have contributed time and money to make this Conference a Success. We deeply appreciate their support and generosity. Again, Welcome to Chattanooga!
Randy Phillips, Conference Chairman
