General rulesThese rules shall apply to all persons and third-parties entering the premises of ABB STrieBel & John Gmbh & Co. KG in Sasbach.
Persons visiting the premises with a group shall not leave their group at any time.
Particular caution should be observed near exits of buildings and when encountering transport vehicles.
Please do not leave marked pathways, especially in production and logistics areas.
Please refrain from touching machinery, plants, equipment and devices unless instructed to do so.
Please return your visitor pass at reception when leaving ABB STrieBel & John.

Smoking, fire and naked light in the whole factory prohibited! Marked smoking places are available in the outdoor area.
Taking photographs and filming is only allowed with prior permission!

General road traffic regulations with the following particularities shall apply in all areas:
o Maximum speed 10 km/h
o in case of emergency, illegally parked vehicles will be towedaway at owner's expense.

ABB STrieBel & John shall not be liable for damages occurring as a result of offences against these regulations.

Behavior in case of emergency: Report “Reporting a fire comes before fighting a fire”
emergency 0-112 When reporting a fire you must indicate the following:
Location of the fire? Building, floor, room no. Is anybody injured?
What is on fire? Type and extent of the fire
Who is reporting the fire? Name and contact number
Report even the smallest initial fire, because it can quickly spread and turn into a large fire.
Are people “Saving people comes before fighting a fire!” Find out if any injured or disabled people need to be
carried away from the danger zone.
Defibrillator
Do not allow people whose clothes have caught fire to run away!
Smother burning clothes using other items of clothing, a fire blanket or by rolling the injured person on the ground.
Attempt to Use existing fire-extinguishing equipment (fire extinguishers, wall hydrants) to fight the fire. Do not use fire-extinguishing equipment until you reach the source of fire.
Evacuation of When you hear the sound of alarms please leave the building in a calm and disciplined manner. Assist employees who need your help.
Buildings or shop floors must be evacuated through marked escape routes. Close doors. In certain cases special escape routes and collection points will be announced.

Elevators may not be used!
Fire brigade Fire-fighting efforts will be assumed by the fire brigade upon its arrival. The Chief Fire Officer is responsible for managing the operation at the scene of the fire. It is imperative that instruc-tions issued by the fire brigade are adhered to.
After the fire After the fire has been extinguished, any personal and material damage must be reported to the fire safety officer at once.

In case of an incident:o Stay away from the location of the incident.
o Do not enter cordoned-off areas. Do not obstruct rescueefforts.
o in case of danger or upon sounding of accoustic dangeralert signals, leave the danger zone.
– Please ensure that you do not obstruct any rescue routeswhen parking your vehicle.
– Please remove your vehicle from the danger zone withoutendangering other persons or facilities.
o instructions issued by operating personnel must be ad-hered to at all times within factories, plants and buildings.
o if you notice any irregularities, e.g. escaping liquids,smoke or accidents, please alert Property Management.
o in case of health problems please consult a first-aidofficer or contact the nearest ABB STrieBel & John employee.
