“Aunt” Alice Thompson, came to visit
Ms. Sprouse-Anderson and Mrs.
Calvert’s 2nd block class. Aunt Alice is
almost 102 years old, and she shared
her knowledge of life during the 1920s,
the Great Depression, World War II,
and beyond to these
students. Students were able to ask
questions, and many were amazed at
her response of $0.25 movie tickets
and a week’s worth of pay being
$12.00! She’s a gem!
