‘Overview of Design Process’ on Booking circular Journey

Design Methodology:
• Information gathered through research.

• Explore functional requirement.
• Explore visual and semiotic possibility that represents functionality properly.
Branding :
The concept is about revamping branding identity, making it more trendy and simple to identify,
assuming that „Circular journey app‟ is a new feather in the travel and tourism industry in India, deals
with long circular tour for a maximum of eight hard stop, which has different destination but same and
fixed starting point. Assuming IRCTC wants to prelaunch its branding identity to target seamless
connection with all the customer and expand business.
Mobile Application Design:
Followed UCD methodology for designing the product.
Followed UCA : WHO, WHY and HOW.
Shared document gave an idea about „Business Requirement‟. Explored further to form possible user
stories.
Contextual Research :
Available document on Internet, Created Mind Map, Persona, Scenario, Use cases to document and
explore research utility.

User Task Flow :
A use case is being taken to explore the task flow from a specific scenario.
Design Concept:
One Page Design for easy access to heavy information site.
Card Design look for mobile app to make it trendy.
Cool and corporate branding color.
New age pastel color palette to represent contemporary trend and covers all the user range.
Typography : Segoue UI chosen for logotype to represent modern trend for windows phone. Mobile
app Segoue UI Regular, Semibold is used to follow recent trend.

Visio, PowerPoint, Balsamic, Adobe CC (illustrator, Photoshop).
