It’sthetimeofyeartostartthinkingabouttheShowandtoplanyourentries.OurClubShowispartoftheFete(anannualCombsandBattisfordevent)withloadsoffunactivities,stallsanddisplaysofskillanddexterity.ThedayendswithaconcertontheGreen.ThisyeartheFeteisbeingheldontheBattisfordVillageGreen,sodon’tgetlost!TheShow’ssuccessisdependentonourmembersandthelocalresidentswhoenter;sothemoreentriesthemoresuccessfulitwillbe.Comeonlet’shaveatleastoneentryfromeverymember!Wealwaysliketoseeentriesinthejuniorclasses–thechildrendonothavetoliveintheareatheyjusthavetoberelatedtomembersorresidents.OnceagainthisyearweareindebtedtoPaulHansordforfindingplantsforthememberclasses.MemberscanseetheFebruarynewsletterfordetails.ManythankstotheCommitteeandothermemberswhohelppriortoandonthedayoftheShow–itcouldnottakeplacewithoutthem.Trollieswillbeavailabletohelpbringinheavierpotsetc.Pleasenotethesetuptimeof10–11.30.Feteweekendeventsarestillbeingplannedbutkickoffwiththefund-raisingPIGRACEeveningon18thMay([email protected]@googlemail.comfortickets).

Classes (except classes1and41-43)areopen toall residentsofCombs,LittleFinborough, BattisfordandRingshall,andallmembersofBattisfordandDistrictGardening Club, and their families. Only one entry per person perclass.Children’sclassesopenasdetailedpreviously
AllentryformsmustbereceivedbyWednesday3thJuly2019.Entriesareonlyacceptableontheofficialform.Copiesareacceptable(alsoavailableonthewebsitewww.battisfordgardeningclub.org.uk) Pleaseuseseparateentryformsforeachfamilymemberentering.
Theshowwillbeopenforexhibitorstosetupfrom10to11.30amonthedayof theshow.No lateorchangedentrieswillbeacceptedon theday.Entriesmustremainondisplayuntil4pm.Allexhibitsmustberemovedfromthemarqueeby4.30pm.
