Clips DUdley DeathCharles E Dudley a well known and

popular young man of this city agedtwentysix took his life Tuesday nightby drinking a deadly draught of carbolicand prussic acids He had been despondent for several months because ofnot having regular employment and forother reasons and had tried some timeago to end his life

The deceased was a son of Oliver HDudley and was an industrious andworthy young man He was a faithfulmember of the Paris Fire Departmentand several years ago a capableemplove of THE NEWS He was amost deserving young man and a host offriends were shocked to hear of hisdeath

Funeral services were held yesterdayafternoon at the residence by Eld LloydDarsie and the remains were interredin the Paris cemetery The pallbearerswhich were selected by the deceasedwere Messrs Edgar Minter TamesIngles Chas Sauer Frank JacobsGeorge M Davis and Frank RemingtonAs a mark of respect to the deceased thebell at the Fire Department was tolledduring the funeral
