Meaning of branding.
The process of giving a name or a sign or a symbol etc., to a product is called branding.
1.Brand: A brand is a name, term, sign, symbol, design or some combination of them, used to identify the products.
2.Brand Name: which can be spoken, is called a brand name. In other words, brand name is the verbal component of a brand. For example, Asian Paints, Safola, Maggie, the brand names.
3. Brand Mark: That part of a brand which can be recognised but which is not utter able is called brand mark. It appears in the form of a symbol , design, distinct color scheme or lettering.
4. Trade Mark: A brand or part of a brand that is given legal protection and registered under The trade Mark Act 1999 is called trademark. The protection is given against its use by other firms.
