STUDENT INNOVATIVE PROJECTS - GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
The proposals with proper budget estimate, interim reports and completion report
should be submitted through online and the hard copy of the same should be submitted
to CTDT as per the scheduled date.
Settlement of the accounts and remittance of the balance amount to CTDT Revenue
Account should be completed as per the scheduled date.
All the Team members should be present for the Project review meeting, failing which
the certificate will not be issued.
SETTLEMENT OF ACCOUNTS
1) The expenditure should be made as per the approved budget amount.
2) The unspent balance amount should be remitted in the CTDT REVENUE Account and the
original remittance challan should be enclosed along with the settlement bills.
3) All bills should be certified by the Students and mentor arranged as per the head of accounts in
the budget approved.
4) Pass order should be signed by the HOD.
5) The bills should contain bill address, PAN Number, TIN Number, Bill Number, Bill Date, serial
Number, item details, number of Quantity, Rate per unit, Amount, % of VAT, % of Discount if
any, and the Total Bill amount duly signed by the authority of the vendor.
6) Stamped Receipt for the bill amount of Rs.5,000/- and above is necessary.
The change of title and budget reappropriation are allowed within 15 days(7th July 2017)by sending the same through HOD concerned and thereafter no change is allowed.
7) The sanctioned advance amount could be claimed within one month of the sanctioned date and
the delayed claims are not entertained for the payment.
8) In the bills, the date should be mentioned within the duration of the project period.
9) If the bills are made through credit payment, it is necessary to enclose the receipt for the
payment along with the invoice.
10) Stock entry should be signed by the HOD of the department concerned.
11) The Purchase procedures should be followed as per the Anna University Norms.
12) Computer and their accessories should be purchased through Common Computer Purchase
Committee - RCC, as per the Anna University Norms.
13) Chemicals, Glasswares and Plasticwares should be purchased from the Vendors list approved
by Anna University.
14) The vehicles should be hired from the list of approved travels by the Logistics Centre, Anna
University.
15) In the approved projects, if there is any travel grant, journey claim is allowed only through
sleeper class by train or Non - AC bus.

Estimate bills, cash memo, letter head bills and refreshment charges are not allowed.
