and Certification courses in HR Analytics, Employee Wellness,
Talent Management etc. The PGDHRM program is designed
for working professionals is a 12 module course with each
module covering a specific aspect of People Management
and Development.

Mr. Gopi Nambiar, A management graduate in Human Resources from XLRI, Jamshedpur, he has had a successful career with reputed companies such as EID Parry, Eicher, PepsiCo and Bacardi in an Asia Pacific role before joining Pernod Ricard in 1999 as Head of Human Resources for India, Gulf and SAARC countries. As a Director on board of Pernod Ricard India for more than ten years, he was responsible for all aspects of management of the organization, and partnered actively with the rest of the Board and CEO.
Gopi has received professional Certification as an Executive Coach from the Neuro Leadership Group – Results Coaching Systems, U.S.A and have successfully completed more than 30 coaching assignments for senior management successfully over past six years. He has conducted Executive Coaching assignments in Multinational and large Indian organisations in Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore. He is currently engaged in four senior management coaching assignments in Chennai.
Course Faculty
He is a Human Resource Consultant who has a passion for teaching HR for MBA students. He has been a guest lecturer even while employed in industry, at IMT Ghaziabad, MDI Gurgaon, IIM Bangalore among others. He was also employed as an Adjunct Professor at Alliance University for EPBA and MBA students specializing in HR for a year. Recently he has taken web based classes for MBA students of ISBR, Bangalore.
Course objective and content
This course is designed to educate professionals on the relevant aspects of social legislation which would guide them. It is imperative for all managers to require basic knowledge of employment relation laws.

Shops and establishment Act, and all relevant legislations for manufacturing/service industry
• Industrial Disputes Act• Trade Union Act• IR incidents• Collective Bargaining• Conciliation/Negotiation/Disciplinary
action/Domestic Enquiry• Grievance Management• Worker's Participation in
Management• Employee Relations and Welfare
Medium and Certification
• All sessions would be conducted online via Zoom with breakout sessions for case studies and exercise
• All assessments would be evaluated and a final exam will be conducted.
• Participants need to obtain a minimum of 50% to be eligible for Certification
• Participants would receive Digital Certificate co-signed by MSSW and Kelsa directly from Madras School of Social Work, within 3 weeks of course completion.
