How-To

Tips:Give people the option of the easier way or the more advanced techniqueUse acrylic sign holders to hold your project in placeInclude matting and framing as part of your craft

Tips:Make it a series of programs, at least 2 so people can have enough time to make patternsGive them some examples, but not too many.Spend some time showing everyone how to hand sew so you are doing less one-on-oneDisplay them in the library afterwards

•Very versatile•Easy-to-do•Edible •Opportunity for creativity with accessorizing the jar (i.e. wooden spoons, measuring cups, etc.)

•Cylindrical vases (available at the Dollar Tree)•Double-stick tape•Recycled book pages and/or sheet music•Ribbon• Pencil (for rolling book pages)
Tips:
•Easy-to-do•No glue necessary•Good way to recycle discarded books•Ask local high schools for any sheet music they might be wanting to recycle

with vendors and make-n-takes.
• Increased our gate count by over 300 and new or renewed cards increased.
Host a monthly craft club• Set aside a regular
meeting time monthly.• Have a variety of
crafts at different levels, ask their input for ideas.
• Be open to different ages
• We routinely get 20-30 people.

Rules- You will have five minutes to create and
execute a craft with your mystery supplies.- All mystery supplies must be used in some way.- Also available to you, our stock items: glue,
scissors and tape.- Your presenters will judge each round and
select a winner. - The winners of each round will go head-to-head
in a final round to crown the Chopped Craft Champion.
