FUND HELPS CHILDRENWITH CANCERSubmitted by Kathy Denora
The Michael C. Denora Foundation of Clark,New Jersey was established in 2009 in memoryof my son, Michael who lost his battle withpediatric cancer at the age of 23. His wisheswere to help the children battling this horribledisease in what ever way possible. With Michael’s hopes and dreams as the
driving force, we focused on raising money tohelp these special children. Michael’sFoundation touches the lives of these specialchildren. The children and their families needour help to make their hardest days just a littlebit easier. Our foundation is focused on helpinglocal children thru the Cancer Institute of NewJersey, Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’sHospital and Embrace Kids.We are a new foundation and growing. Last
year, through much support from family andfriends, we helped fund a Thanksgiving DayLuncheon for the children and their families inthe hospital, provided Christmas gifts to patientfamilies as well as needed items to the PediatricHematology/Oncology Cancer Clinic to keepthe children occupied during treatments.Together we can truly make a difference for
these special children – who just want to be kids– grow up – go to college – and have a family oftheir own. With Warmest Regards & These Special
Children Forever in our Hearts,Kathy Denora - Clark, New Jersey
