II. RATIONALE:
This course is intended to help students develop the abilities of comprehension, production of texts and use of
the language in English in oral and written form by using different teaching-learning strategies so that students
will learn different communicative techniques and structures, improve their vocabulary, listen to and read texts
in order to interact properly in the target language through daily gradual exposure and use of the language in
meaningful and personalized situations in the classroom. In this way, they will develop the ability to understand
and communicate in English fluently and confidently in similar real situations.
