Steca Solsum Charge Controllers The Steca Solsum F-Line continues the huge success of one of the most used SHS controllers. With a power range of up to 10 A at automatically recognized 12 V or 24 V it fits to a system sizes of maximum 240 W. The circuit board is completely electronically protected and with the LED user interface it is easy to check the battery state of charge at any time. Large terminals guarantee a simple connection of solar panels, battery and load. The Steca Solsum F works on PWM as a low loss series controller.

Steca Solarix PRS Solar Charge Controllers The simplicity and high performance of the Steca Solarix PRS solar charge controller make it particularly attractive. Here, Steca’s latest algorithms are employed in order to guarantee optimal battery maintenance. The Solarix PRS charge controllers are equipped with an electronic fuse, thus ensuring the optimal protection. They operate on the serial principle, and separate the solar module from the battery in order to protect it against overcharging. The Solarix PRS charge controllers are universal charge controllers: they can be used with lead-acid batteries or gel batteries without the need for complex configura-tion settings. For larger projects, the charge controllers can also be equipped with special functions: night light function, selectable charging plateau and deep discharge protection voltages. The Steca Solarix PRS works on PWM as a low loss series controller.

Steca PR 2020 IP Solar Charge Controller The PR 2020 IP design is based on Steca‘s PR charge controller series with a customer designed LCD which shows the accurate state of charge (SOC) in percent and as battery gauge symbol. The heart of the controller is the integrat-ed circuit called ATONIC II, which contains the improved regulation software based on a self learning algorithm. The PR 2020 IP controller operates in harsh enviroments like salt, moisture and dust. The Steca PR 2020 IP works on PWM as a low loss series controller.

Steca Tarom Solar Charge Controllers The new design for the Steca Tarom sets new standards in this power class. A graphic display informs the user about all important system data and enables configuration and adjustment of the controller to the specific requirements of the individual system. Numerous clever functions allow the user to adjust the controller to the particular features of the system in question. Thanks to the signifi-cantly improved state of charge determination, the system is optimally controlled and the batteries are protected. The Steca Tarom charge controller is the best choice for system sizes of up to 2.400 Wp at three voltage levels (12 VDC, 24 VDC, 48 VDC). The integrated data logger stores all important system data which can be read via an open Steca RS232 interface. As an option, an external temperature sensor can also be connected.Two additional switching contacts can be freely configured as a timer, a night light function, to start generators or as surplus management. The Steca Tarom works on PWM as a low loss series controller.

Steca Solarix PI Stand Alone Inverters In develop-ing the Solarix PI stand-alone inverter, Steca has brought about some innovations which are unprecedented in this form. These are, above all, parallel switching, the novel operating concept which uses a single rotary switch, direct communication in order to calculate the state of charge (SOC) with Steca Tarom and Steca Power Tarom, and the electronic fuse. Steca Solar Fridge The new Steca solar fridge product generation is perfectly optimized for the use in solar applications. Energy efficiency is the highest priority for such applications. The new A++ DC fridge generation realizes a complete concept. Best isolation combined with a very efficient and silant DC compressor which is driven by a specially designed Steca electronic compressor regulation guarantee an optimum use of the available solar power within the system. Optionally the Steca solar fridge coolers can be equipped with one of the well known Steca Solar charge regulators which interact optimally with the fridge functionality. In this case just a suitable battery and the solar module has to be connected to the Steca solar fridge to start cooling. Especially the Steca solar fridge as a top opener is optimally suited for applications under high ambient temperature as it protects the content of the fridge also while the cabinet is open.

Steca PA EV200 DC Relays Steca PA EV200 relay increases the switching capacity of the PA 15 remote control from 15 A to 200 A (up to 10 kW). The relay is connected to the load output of the PA 15 and inter-rupts for example, the battery supply voltage from a back-up generator when the battery is full. The relay is hermetically sealed, intrinsically safe and operates in explosive & harsh enviroments like salt, moisture and dust with no oxidation or contamination of coils or contacts.
Steca Tarom PA 15 Receiver (for Steca Tarom) The PA 15 unit is able to receive the SOC (state of charge) signal from the charge controller and depend-ing on the configuration it cuts off loads or puts on additional generators. A charging management is the second feature of the PA 15 receiver. The programming of the PA 15 is made by a jumper connection terminal.

Steca PA Tarcom Data Loggers (for Steca Tarom) Stecas data logger PA Tarcom is connected to the RJ45 data loop of the Tarom or Power Tarom charge controller or via the PA HS200 shunt. It is available in different versions as a simple RS232 serial interface (PA Tarcom 01) to log and read out data directly to a PC or laptop, as a data logger connected with integrated ana-logue modem (PA Tarcom RM), as a data logger with an optional telephone link for phone calls (PA Tarcom RMT) and as a datalogger with a built in GSM modem for remote monitoring (PA Tarcom GSM).
