Domra - an ancient Russian national musical instrument.
In Russian language this word sounds like. «До́�мра».
There are two versions of domra origin.
From them it is possible to draw a conclusion that it is typically Russian instrument which unites in itself the European and Asian lines.

Domra is made of wood.
Domra’s making is a difficult process. Making of one instrument takes lots of time.
In a year master produces about 40 instruments.

The domra enters in the group of string instrument.

The domra is used as an orchestral instrument and as a soloist instrument.
