These will replicate the high stress and split second decision making processes which law enforcement officers may encounter. During this exercise they will need to use verbal skills, command presence, and a rational thought process to guide them through whatever they experience. All students will be provided with protective equipment. This exercise does involve the possibility of being struck by a dummy round, similar to what might be experienced if you have been struck by a paintball from a paintball gun. As there is the possibility of minor injury, there will also be strict monitoring of students by officers who are specifically trained to perform such scenarios. Each student who wishes to participate must have a signed waiver from a parent / guardian, upon check in.
