WHAT'S NEW?In celebration of the return of EGGstravaganza, participants will create their design in theshape of an EGG! Egg stencils will be provided. Get creative! Use the egg shape however you
please in your design. Create your masterpiece inside the egg, outside, or both!

REGISTRATION INFORMATIONThe 2nd annual Eggy Chalk Art Contest is open to all chalk art enthusiasts. Entrants will be assigned anapproximate 4’x4’ cement sidewalk square at the Donald and Carol Kress Pavilion. Here's the twist - artistswill complete their masterpiece in the shape of an EGG (in celebration of EGGstravaganza). An Egg stencil willbe provided. A basic 24-piece box of Crayola Sidewalk Chalk and latex gloves will be provided to each entrant, however,contestants are encouraged to bring their own non-toxic, washable chalk. Registration fees are non-refundable.If needed, a rain date will be determined.
o Artists are encouraged to bring professional chalks of any caliber; however, only washable, non-toxic chalkmedia may be used. o May use all or part of their designated square. o Original art or replica art is acceptable; no stenciling. o Artwork must be appropriate for public viewing by all ages; therefore no lewd, graphically violent, gore, nude,or prurient images are allowed. No political messages, words, memes or trademark symbols indicatingadvertisers. o Artist may sign their finished masterpiece!
RULES AND GUIDELINES
BRING YOUR OWN:o Knee pads! o Extra washable chalk pieces o Rags, brushes, sponges, towelettes, spray waterbottle, ruler, appropriate art utensils o Additional gloves o Sunscreen, hat or umbrella o Drinking water
SUGGESTIONS AND TIPS:o Wear disposable gloves while you work. They keep yourhands cleaner, and don’t dry out your skin. One pair oflatex gloves will be provided. o Towel or rag for leaning your hand on. This will helpprevent “road rash” from leaning heavily on the pavement. o Dress in loose work clothing that could get messy! o Check out online links for more chalk art hints, tips andsuggestions.
