Dear Reader,
First of all, I would like to thank all our customers and business partners for the fine support and attendance at the open-ing of our new plant on 18 June 2010 in Sriperumbudur near Chennai.
We received very many congratulations and much approval for our new domicile and we are happy that from this location we can now serve both our Indian and also our South-East Asia markets even better than before.
Mr. R. Rajesh and his staff tackled the move and all the tasks associated with the start at the new location with great energy. In the name of my family and the German management, I would like to very cordially thank everybody who contrib-uted to the successful realization of this project.
In future, also in India and the other states of South-East Asia, the utilization of solar energy for the generation of electricity will be an area of great importance. Manufacturer's instruc-tions must be checked: If thin-film panels are not re-verse current proof, blocking diodes must be used. The manufacturer indicates the number of parallel strings, for which no blocking diodes are needed.

- If DC lines are wired from one lightning protection zone into another, a type 2 surge protection device (SPD) must be installed in the proximity of the feed-through for cables.
