Today’s Students, Tomorrow’s Professionals
The Bloomington Area Career Center (BACC) End of Year Report for 2016‐17 aims to give you a picture of
BACC, our students, and the accomplishments of those students over this past school year. BACC continues
to offer exceptional educational opportunities for students that include industry recognized certifications,
dual credit, career exploration, and skills training. Students leave BACC equipped with skills, as well as an
improved knowledge of different career opportunities, postsecondary and college opportunities, and better
ready for his or her next steps.
The success of our students is a team effort. The BACC and our teachers have many valuable supporters—
including business and community members, college and postsecondary affiliates, and our parents. In addi‐
tion, we continue to receive strong support from our member schools, the administrators, counselors and
support staff. On behalf of the BACC, I would like to extend a HUGE “thank you” to all that help educate
