WELCOMETri-State’sEnergyEfficiencyProducts(EEP)programisapartnershipbetweenTri-StateandourMemberSystems.ThisprogramisdesignedtopromoteelectricproductsandnewtechnologiesthatpromoteenergyefficiencyandthewiseuseofelectricitythatrepresentavalueforourMemberSystemsandtheirmember-owners.

Tri-State’sEEPprogramwasinitiatedin1985andcontinuestobeavoluntaryprogramasameanstoencourageandrewardenergyefficientpurchasesandpracticesthatpromoteenergyefficiencyandthewiseuseofelectricity.Theprogramprovidesmember-ownerswithrebatesfortheinstallationofefficientlighting,HVACsystems,andsimilarenergysavingequipment.In2015,theMemberSystemsofTri-Statesavedapproximately147,595megawatt-hoursofenergythroughtheenergyefficiencyprogram’snewandpreviouslyinstalledequipment.

AllTri-StateMemberSystemsareeligibletoparticipateandtheymaytailorproductselectiontomeettheirspecificgoals.

THE FUTURE OF EEPWithitsMemberSystems,Tri-Statecontinuallyreviewsnewenergyefficiencytechnologies,energycodes,regulationsandthemarkettoensuretheEEPprogramcontinuestomeettheneedsoftheirmember-owners.Overthepastfewyears,Tri-StatehasupdatedandexpandedtheEEPprogramtoprovidethegreatestbenefitstoourMemberSystemsandtheirmember-owners.FederalenergyefficiencystandardsandequipmentpricingchangesareovertakingsomeofTri-State’spresentofferingsandincentiveswillcontinuetoevolve.
