2
Fast Protec System • The Fast Protec System was devised by a dental technician to satisfy the main dental lab needs
• It is a combination of 3 fundamental elements: • Products making up the system • Materials used for processing • Methodology
• Comparing with traditional system, Fast Protec guarantees: 1 A halving of processing times 2 An excellent quality standard 3 A reduction of waste material 4 A clean way to work
3
Products -‐ The Core of the System
1 All-‐In, a three-‐axis verticulator with integrated muffle 2 Implant Box, muffle with an integrated split-‐cast 3 Articulator, realized with magnetic condyles without
constraints 4 Base Gum, used to make the model base and
magnetically attached on All-‐In and Articulator magnetic
4
Products -‐ Accessories 1 Base for Temp, split-‐cast for temporaries 2 Fast Clean, used for fitting the model on the Articulator
via silicone 3 Teeth Clean, 14 slot basket for cleaning teeth 4 Fast for Plaster, used for adapting any articulator to
Fast Protec system
5
Materials • The primary materials used with the system are: • Silicones • Cold self-‐curing resins (cadmio free)
• Using silicon instead of plaster, any dental technician can work on a clean bench and does not need a dedicated plaster room
• During processing both a precision silicon (Fast Precision Blue) and a fitting silicone (Fast Putty) are used
• The resin is un-‐shrinkable and bubble free
6
Materials -‐ Silicones 1 Fast Precision Blue, absolute precise, stable in the
long-‐term and malleable 2 Fast Putty, used to fill up the muffle (fitting silicone) 3 Fast Traspa, precise and malleable, its transparency
allows high visibility during the composite injection 4 Teeth Fast and Teeth Fast Trasp, used to reproduce
the model in the male and female mould technique with A + B syringe
5 Fast Spray, used for insulating silicone templates
7
Materials -‐ Resins 1 Acrilic Fast, extremely fluid, easy polishing, good
adhesion to dental prosthesis and colour stability. It is free from shrinkage and bubble creation. In powder or liquid.
2 Fast Temp, high precise, high gloss and abrasion resistant, it is used for temporaries. In powder or liquid.
8
Methodology • Fast Protec System creates a working procedure for each dental lab processing
• This procedure allows a dental technician to preserve the finished work after each step
• If there is trouble during the processing, you do not have to restart from the beginning and so throw away all the work
BUT • You can step back and go on from the previous phase keeping the work you have made until that moment
9
Methodology • In a couple of days a dental technician can train a new employee to use the system for the main dental lab processing
• After the training, the employee is completely independent and can easily finish the processing all alone
• Following the procedure a dental technician can perform a job automatically and without making mistakes
