Important: Have one person responsible for
photos/video/social sharing at your events. Must be social
savvy.
Shoot a one-second burst of five photos that are turned into a silent
video that plays forwards and then reverses over and over in a loop.
Research and create a list of nonprofit channels you love
Google search: top nonprofit facebook pages 2016 etc.
Look at these pages regularly to get inspiration.
List the types of ongoing posts you want to make and how often you think
you can pull these off reliably.
Create an editorial calendar for the year and
plug in post types – you can
create actual posts later.
Put a 1 – 3 hour Marketing Planning Meeting early each month of your calendar!
• Look at your list of inspiration nonprofit
channels
• Write your posts for the next month
• Identify content from other organizations to
share, gather links, and write posts
• Identify inspirational quotes, plan your
photos, and design your graphics
• Plan who you will profile, plan or request
photos, and write profile text
Monthly Meeting Agenda
