• India is a soverei gn , socialist, secular, democratic and republic country with diversity in cast, religion, customs, and traditions where people follow different rituals in daily life and work together harmoniously.
• After all different languages and territory, culture and economic inter-dependency, there is unity in India.

• No progress can be made in any field, including, the field of art and literature, science and culture advancement and economic well-being if disruptive tendencies and devisive forces are around to tear apart the vary fabric of nationallife.

• It is not the uniformity of all religions dress and food habits etc. It means both preservation od diverse culture and respecting and working in harmony with eachother.

Hindrance Removal Methods.
• The education system should be improved and students should be taught the lesson of secularism, tolerance and mutual respect.
• The economic disparity should be narrowed.
• The political parties should not be formed on the basis of religion.

The Aim Of National Intrgration Camp.

Citizen.
• A member of the community who owes allegiance to the state and who enjoys protection and the rights granted by the constitution of country is called as a citizen.

Five Duties Of A Citizen.
• To abide by the constitution and respect its ideals and institutions.
• To protect and uphed the sovereignity, unity and integrity of India.
• To defend the country and render nation service when called upon to do so.
• To promote harmony and the spiritof common brotherhood amongst all the people of the country.
• To safegaurd public property and abjure voilence.
NIC
• The NATIONAL INTEGRATION COUNCIL originated in a confrence convened by the them PM Jawaharlal Nehru in sept-oct of 1961.
• The NIC met for the first time in June 1962. the NIC was reconstituted and met again in august 2005.
• The new council had 103 members including 12 chief ministers 12 union ministers and leaders of all major political parties.
• The purpose was to find ways to address the problems of commonalism, castism and regionalism. The confernce set up the NIC to review nation intergration issues and make recommendations
• In April 2010 the NIC was again reconstituted with 147 members.
Fundamental Duties To Reinforce National Integration.
• To abite by the constitution and respect its ideals and institutins, the national flag and National Anthem.
• To cherish and follow the noble ideals which inspired our national struggle for freedom.
• To defend the country and render national service when called upon to do so.
• To promote harmony and the sprit of common brotherhood .
• To renounce practices derogatory to the dignity of women.
• To valueand preserve the rich heritage of our culture.
• To safegaurd public property and to reject violence.
