Option1:Atanystage15daysbeforeyourarrivalintoKathmandu,youareabletofillinandcompleteanonlineVisaonArrivalformforNepal.Thisisthemethodthatwewouldrecommendyoudotoavoidlonglineupsatthekioskcounterintheairport.However,ifyouareunabletocompletethisformonlineorprintifbeforeleavingyourhomecountry,thenOption2isalsopossible!Followthesestepstoapplyforthevisaonlinebeforeleavinghome:

1. Followthislinktoaccessthevisaformonline-http://online.nepalimmigration.gov.np/tourist-visa.Youwillalsoneedtouploadadigitalphotoofyourselfthroughthislink.Usetheinformationatthebottomofthisdocumenttofillintherequirementsoftheform.

2. Onceyourapplicationformhasbeensuccessfullyprocessed,pleaseprintthepageattheendthatincludesyour“SubmissionID,name,passportnumberanddigitalphoto”,andbringthiswithyouwhenyouarriveintoTribhuvanInternationalAirportinKathmandu.

3. Ontheplane,pleasefillinyourArrivalCardusingtheinformationprovidedbelow.YourarrivalcardwillbeprovidedtoyoubyyourflightattendantbeforearrivinginNepal.TherearealsocopiesoftheArrivalCardondesksassoonasyouwalkintotheairport.

4. WalkstraighttothevisapaymentcounterandprovidetheclerkwiththeappropriatevisafeeinUSD.Theremaybealonglinetowaitinforthispartasmanypeopleontheplanewillbeneedingtodothesamething.

5. Onceyouhavepaidtheappropriatefee,youwillreceiveareceipt.ProceedtotheImmigrationdesksandhandtheOfficeryourpassport,visapaymentreceipt,visaonarrivalprintout(thatyoudidathomeviatheonlinelink)andcompletedarrivalcard.Thevisawillbestuckintoyourpassportonablankpageandstampedanddated.Beforeleavingthecounter,pleaselookatyourvisainyourpassportandvisiblycheckthatthedeparturedateiscorrectforthelengthoftimethatyouwillbeinNepal.

Option2:FollowthesestepswhenarrivingtoTribhuvanInternationalAirporttoapplyforyourvisa:

1. FillinyourArrivalCardusingtheinformationprovidedbelow.YourarrivalcardwillbeprovidedtoyoubyyourflightattendantbeforearrivinginNepal.TherearealsocopiesoftheArrivalCardondesksassoonasyouwalkintotheairport.

2. FilloutyourTouristVisaApplicationFormusingoneoftheelectronicKioskmachinesasyouarriveatTribhuvanInternationalAirport.Theyarelargewhitecomputerstandsandshouldbelocatedonyourleftasyouwalkintotheairportfromtheairplanerunway.Therewillbeawebcaminthekiosktotakeaphotoofyourselfforthisdocumentation.

3. TakethekioskprintoutandproceedstraightaheadtothevisapaymentcounterandprovidetheclerkwiththeappropriatevisafeeinUSD.Theremaybealonglinetowaitinforthispartasmanypeopleontheplanewillbeneedingtodothesamething.

4. Onceyouhavepaidtheappropriatefee,youwillreceiveareceipt.ProceedtotheImmigrationdesksandhandtheOfficeryourpassport,visapaymentreceipt,visaonarrivalprintoutandcompletedarrivalcard.Thevisawillbestuckintoyourpassportonablankpageandstampedanddated.Beforeleavingthecounter,pleaselookatyourvisainyourpassportandvisiblycheckthatthedeparturedateiscorrectforthelengthoftimethatyouwillbeinNepal.
