Happy February everyone.
February is the month of love .Not only for the couples of New Auckland place but for
the staff, resident and visitors as we celebrate Smokey being with us for one Year. I
can only wish and hope that we have brought as much love and joy to Smokey’s life
as he has brought to ours. ♥♥
I would like to say congratulations to the staff & residents of Boyne North. It was
certainly a great team effort in decorating the lift area and the main lounge area for
Australia day. It was great to see some Australian animals come and live with us for
a short period of time, as well as a great display of Aboriginal artifacts. Thank you
Delores for allowing us to display some of your wonderful pieces of art etc.
The display even brought out the soft side of Felix. Felix was spotted curling up next
to” Bandit “our soft toy version of Smokey. Unfortunately the month of love hasn’t
cured Felix unwelcoming nature towards Smokey.
Keep watch this month as the facility receives a bit of a facelift. The painting of the front of the building has been scheduled to commence in the last week of February. A replacement sign for the front of the premises has also been ordered. Until next month Dawn
