13th January 2012 saw the VNR500 Awards Ceremony which acknowledged and honored the achievements of top 500 largest Vietnamese companies, among which PTSC M&C was delight-fully ranked 105th, increased from 155th position in 2010. In the meantime, PTSC M&C’s Parent company was ranked 36th.
Vietnam Top 500 Largest Enterprises by revenue ranking is being conducted under the model of Fortune 500 which is in accor-dance with international standards by Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company. Amongst 300,000 Vietnamese enterprises, top 5,000 ones with high revenue are selected; accordingly, 500 largest en-terprises are shortlisted. The improvement in 2011-year ranking has marked PTSC M&C dramatic business growth positively con-tributed by our passionate and dedicated employees as well and the effective management system being applied at PTSC M&C.
Statistically, there has been an increase of approximately 53% in revenue growth rate in 2011. Such achievement was built upon the successful completion of two main projects namely 100 Men Living Quarter of PetroVietnam Marine Shipyard, Te Giac Trang

BD1 Project– Run to target
Hai Su Trang/Den Project– Successfully rowed up Panel B-
Jacket HST & HSD
Having been carried out since
March 2010, BD1 Project is
running to target marking the
biggest ever-built Process/
Quarter Platform by a local
EPCI contractor with key fa-
cilities encompassing 01 PQP,
01 Well Head Platform, jack-
ets, piles, pipeline and subsea
cables weighing approximately
30,000 tons.
Being entrusted by our client ,
PTSC M&C has made great
effort to achieve the target of
project completion in 2012.
Having BD1 project success-
fully completed will be PTSC
M&C’s turning point in con-
ducting EPCI contract for
central processing platforms.
The load-out work is planned
to be performed by one of the
biggest skidways in Vietnam
built by PTSC M&C which is
able to accommodate a 25,000
ton object. Currently BD1
project is under execution and
maintaining project schedule.

Thang Long Joint Operating Company (JOC) is formed between a famous Canadian oil and gas
operator named Talisman Ltd. and PetroVietnam Exploration & Production Corporation (PVEP)
which is known for having operated block 15-2/01 since 2005 on the development of Hai Su Trang
and Hai Su Den Project.
In Hai Su Trang Den project,

tons, topside of 2,186 tons,
Hai Su Den jacket of 845 tons,
topside of 1,737 tons, 36 km
pipeline connecting Hai Su
Trang and Hai Su Den, also
performing the connection
between Hai Su Trang with
H1- Te Giac Trang wellhead
platform weighing approxi-
mately 10,870 tons. PTSC
M&C is the main contractor
accountable to delivering this
turn-key project from detail
design to hook-up and commissioning which is tentatively completed in June 2013.
Since the First cut 2 months ago, mostly owning to the project team dedicated workforce, Panel B
for jacket Hai Su Trang and Hai Su Den has successfully been rowed up ensuring project substantial
progress. The remaining horizontal frames are scheduled to be lifted to the final position for Hai Su
Trang Den Jacket in April 2012.

tion with strategic partners all over the world.
PTSC M&C has upgraded an over-30-ha fabrication yard and
a wide range of well-equipped facilities including cranes of
varied sizes from 30 to 1,200 tons, trucks of 20 to 60 tons,
three-sized skid-ways which are able to accommodate 6,000,
15,000 and 25,000 ton objects, and other equipments such as
forklifts, generators, air compressors, profile cutting machine,
CNC cutting machine, etc.
Along with the thorough investment in tools and equipments,
we have also built up our manpower with qualified and ex-
perienced skillful workers familiar with international stan-
dards. PTSC M&C’s available workforces today are of about
3,500 men including long-term, short-term and subcontrac-
tors’ personnel who are annually trained through various
courses and supervised by more than 100 supervisors in the
fabrication yard.
With our on-hand capability, PTSC M&C now is able to ap-
proach and absorb more fabrication work for onshore and
offshore facilities. Also are we keen on expanding our busi-

9th March 2012 saw the Health, Safety and Environment Conference at Petro Hotel in Vung Tau
City. Such conference was organized by Vietnam Oil & Gas Group (PVN) with the aim of access-
ing and evaluating the performance of Health, Safety and Environment work in 2011 as well as
drafting action plans for 2012. This is a precious opportunity for exchanging know-how and experi-
ence amongst those companies operating in oil and gas industry in Vietnam. Delightfully at the
conference did PTSC M&C present the efficiency and effectiveness of a systematic technique
named Hazop in indentifying potential hazards in a system and operability problems likely to result
in nonconforming products.
Having attended the conference were there Dr. Do Van Hau – CEO and President of PVN, Mr.
Nguyen Vu Truong Son – Vice President of PVN,
representatives of Vietnamese Ministry of Industry
and Trade, Ministry of Natural Resources and Envi-
ronment, Ministry of Public and Security, Ministry of
Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and leadership of
joint venture companies, contractors, operators, and
more than 200 delegators specialized in Health, Safety
and Environment of PVN and across its subsidiaries.
At the conference, PTSC M&C was proudly awarded
by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and PVN for
the achievement of 7 million man-hours without any
lost time injury and having brilliantly performed
Health, Safety and Environment work in 2011.
