Safe Management Measures (SMM)
• Alignment with the national posture and prevailing SMM (e.g. no cheering and singing are allowed throughout the duration of the camp)
• Adherence to MOE’s guidelines for PE/CCA
• Only personnel who are well, including school staff and students will attend the camp

departure for campsite and in the afternoon)
• Wearing of face masks• Use of sanitisers• Sub groups of 8 in their classes• No intermingling between classes• Washing of hands with soap or
sanitising their hands before and after an activity

times• Face masks are allowed to be
removed when the students are engaged in strenuous activity (e.g. going on a hike) or individual activities using the CCOALC facilities (e.g. rock wall climbing, High Challenge Course)

Equipment• Each student to have his/her own
personal protective equipment (PPE) – helmet, harness and gloves
• Disinfecting of equipment at the end of each day

Meals• Individual bento meals are provided• School will refer to the medical
declarations made by parents/guardians for catering needs
• No seafood in all catered meals• Vegetarians will be catered for• Snack breaks will be factored in and
provided accordingly• Regular reminders for drinking and
refilling of water at water coolers in the adventure centre

Form Teachers will take attendance and conduct temperature-taking before departing the school for the campsite

Transport Arrangements
• School will provide transport to ferry them from school to CCOALC and vice-versa
• To ensure safety and well-being of all students, parents can pick students up from the school only at about 4.30 pm

Is the camp compulsory?Yes
What if my child/ward becomes unwell during camp?The Form Teacher will contact the student’s parent/guardian as per normal school procedures.

FAQ
My child is very afraid of heights. The activities present perceived risks for students to undertake so that they can learn and grow in alignment with the camp objectives. Participation in the camp activities is based on “Challenge by choice”. FTs and OAEs will encourage students to participate based on their readiness level.
