A. Corporate Social Responsibility:
Corporate Social Responsibility is defining the sustainable
responsiveness of corporate towards the empowerment ofsociety and its environment (human and material). This is what
to look beyond the profit & the changing scenario of corporate
world.
According to the 2013 guidelines (Company Act, 2013)states,CorporateSocial Responsibility is the process by which the managers
of an organization think about and evolve their relationship with
stakeholders for the common goods, and demonstrate their
commitment in this regard by adoption of appropriate business process
and strategies. Thus Corporate social responsibility is not charity or
mere donations.

the binding men and their communities togetherregulating them in such a way that they

SECL CSR,BILASPUR INEDUCATION: BRIEF
OVERVIEW
Financial year 2001-2002,very low expenditure (about Rs1 Lac).
In financial year 2002-2003 no money allocated.
The next financial year 2003-2004there was rise in expenditure 21.8% from
initial year.
Next financial year 2004-2005, expenditure level fallsabout 2.4%.
Year 2005-2006, falling in expenditure continues increasing the gap of 54%.
In year 2006-2007 there was noexpenditure.
2007-2008shows huge growth about 98% more from the previouslyexpended amount.
2008-2009again reflects the history of falling and reached the same negative
position by declining98%.

There was lack in expenditure in two financial years in educationsector, but in recent times only for education there was only one
boom year.
SECL CSR policies are more focused on urban then rural.
Mostly focused on education infrastructure development.
How much SECL CSR help to develop the education? Thatll must
be a part of our research.
To know the role of the SECL CSR, Bilaspur in the prospective of
social capital generator.
So, what???
Iam going to clarify & impact assessment of the variation in different
years & in my topic on SECL CSR, Bilaspur expenditure in 2001 to
2008.
