• The earlier you begin this process, the better. Jude the Puppy Nanny stresses the importance of early socialization.

3 Important Things to Remember

• Start when pup is 7 or 8 weeks old

• Take pup everywhere you go

• Have pup meet at least 100 NEW people before she is 12 weeks old

Puppies Need Men• Invite men to your house to watch

a sporting event...hockey is good!

• Lure them with pizza & beer

• Between periods, ask them to handle & pass the puppy

• Give them lots of tiny treats to give pup

• This is a Puppy Party!

• Invite 1 or 2 children to meet your new puppy

• Show them how to pet and gently handle a puppy

• Give them lots of tiny treats for puppy

• Take your puppy in the car (crated is safer)

• Take your puppy to work

• Take your puppy through the neighbourhood

• Puppy will get used to the surfaces in your home

• The world is bigger than that...

• There’s concrete,asphalt,beach rocks, sand...

• Metal grilles in sidewalks,plastic ground sheets, rubber door mats...

• Get out. Go to Places. Be Friendly.
