Topic: College admission process
A flowchart is a type of diagram that represents an algorithm, workflow or process, showing the steps as boxes of various kinds, and their order by connecting them with arrows.
This diagrammatic representation illustrates a solution model to a given problem.
Used in analyzing, designing, documenting or managing a process or program in various fields.
Introduction to flowcharts
The two most common types of boxes in flowchart are:
a processing step, usually called activity, and denoted as a rectangular box
a decision, usually denoted as a diamond.
There are generally four types of flowcharts: Document flowcharts, showing controls over
a document-flow through a system
Data flowcharts, showing controls over a data-flow in a system
System flowcharts showing controls at a physical or resource level
Program flowchart, showing the controls in a program within a system
1. Macro flowchart shows only main
topics whereas micro flowchart gives
detailed information about these
topics.
2. Macro flowchart is easy to design as
comparative to micro flowchart.
3. Macro flowchart is difficult to study and
understand as comparative to micro
flowchart.

Trouble spots
Problem 1
•Unavailability of transportation facilities.
Problem 2
•Unfavorable weather conditions.
•Scorching heat of June and July
Problem 3
•Lack of accommodation facilities
Problem 1The first problem that arises is the
lack of transportation. The campus
being expanded over a larger area
requires the applicants to proceed
to different departments for the
admission process. Thus , this makes
the process a tedious and tiring
task.
Problem 2
The next problem that
applicants face is the
unfavorable weather
condition. The scorching sun
of June makes us feel
uncomfortable to stroll.
The process requires a lot of
work and hence
concentration but this
blistering summer season
makes the task difficult to
carry on .
Problem 3
Another issue worth discussing is
that of improper and lack of
accommodation facilities.
People travelling from far places for
the admission process are not able
to find an accommodation . This
makes them feel dejected.
SOLUTIONS
Solution 1
•Availability of Matadors for moving from department to department.
Solution 2
• The process of admission should take place in months that are comparatively less blistering.
Solution 3
•Construction of more guest houses.
•Proper accommodation for guardians.
