Re-designed Key HooksThe new hooks are similar to clothes pins to make it easier to add
and remove keys to the stand. Numbers are mounted on top of
these hooks to maintain their visibility and to not be blocked by keys

REM plasticLighter and Cheaper, a REM Polystyrene will be more weather
resistant than current metal and wood valet stands. Ballast with
sand if weight is a concern
Surface for signEvery valet company/location uses a different sign so a flat surface
was left for customization with the valet sign
Transport WheelsWheels on the side rather than the bottom provide a more stable/

MT Moisture Analyzer
What is a moisture Analyzer?A moisture analyzer is a scale that measures the moisture content in materials. It does this by first
weighing the sample, then evaporating all the moisture out and weighing it again to determine the
difference.
Mettler Toledo Familiarization
Target AudiencesMoisture Analyzers are used in a variety of different industries
including Pharmaceuticals, Foods, and Plastics.
Moisture content must be accurate in medicines otherwise they
wont be effective or even worse, the companies run the risk of
being sued.
Food products such as chips need to contain moisture to stay fresh
while theyre on the shelf
Plastics must contain a certain about of moisture or they wont
solidify correctly

Secondary ResearchLots of different manufacturersTo understand how to set the new concept apart from other companies models, we needed to conduct
secondary research to see what they offered and how their models operated

Along with the viewing window, functions such as easier cleaning,
leveling and transportation were incorporated into the final
concept
Once I was satisfied with a concept direction I began sketching my
final solutions to model off of.
Similar Products
Just like other products, people connect with them when they
see it work.. Examples include Washer/Dryer, Zip Drive, Blender,
Toaster?
Foam Models
The first concept lets the users see their sample drying. First off to prevent burning and failed tests,
saving time. Secondly because this is such a different scale compared to others, the heating action
should be visible. The second concept uses larger leveling dials with more surface area, making i t
easier to turn these and level the device
Sketching and Modeling
In the final
sketches i
SketcGrinderWhenever a material needs
to be analyzed, it needs to
be ground up, and spread
evenly so the moisture can be
effectively removed. With every
observation, the users used a
different companies blender
and had to spread the material
evenly adding extra time to the
process
User Testing
User testing was conducted to finalize which leveling method we would go with in our final concept. 6
different types of knobs, dials, buttons were created and then tested on 25 users. They were asked
which concept portrayed up & down the most.
The overall decision was the vertical wheels (middle picture) because it made the most sense to the
users

Primary and Secondary research was conducted. Multiple visits to
warehouses such as Honda and Aslco (aluminum manufacturer)
were conducted to observe users interacting with current
pendants.
Interviews were also conducted to find out what the users would
want out of their ideal pendant. They were given the opportunity
to make their own pendant with foam make tools. With these
make tools the user could place an object on a form and explain
what that objects function would be

Pendant Development
SketchingThrough sketching, different forms were explored. The form
needed to be taken away from its bulky, uncomfortable shape and
turned into a more ergonomic, easy to hold shape.
Other ideas such as feedback, modularity, and how to store the
pendant when out of use were also explored.

Pendant Design
Solution
The final pendant concept uses i mproved ergonomics and a new
button layout to help the user work more quickly and comfortable.
The new pendant can be operated with one hand, and without
looking. Cr eating a safer work place by freeing up the eyes to focus
more on what the pendant is controlling, rather than the pendant
itself.

Product Modeling
The objective of this project was to investigate different materials
and manufacturing processes by examining a product on the
market.
The product first was disassembled and mounted in an exploded
view to understand how all its components were assembled
Then each component was modeled in Solidworks modeling

Backpacking Stove
When backpacking or hiking, pack space is at a premium. Users
need to have enough room for all their supplies, and dont want to
be weighed down by bulky or heavy equipment
Through these sketches I explored a stove design that could be
collapsed down or folded up to save space.
I also wanted the stove to be able to be clipped to the outside of the
backpack to save interior pack space.

Graphic Designs
I have joined up with a Cincy based skateboard company and take
care of all their graphic needs. Ive been with them for almost a
year and have designed T-shirts, stickers, and skateboard decks.
