Sandwich Sunday
A round of applause to those who helped with Sandwich Sunday last weekend! Our
last Sandwich Sunday for the summer will be July 9th following the 8:30 Mass. Many
hands make light work. Please join us in the church hall, it's a simple way to put our faith in action.
A Family Perspective
As the Father "sent his son into the world" so parents send their children into the world so that the world might be saved. This is the
missionary role of the Christian family. Your family is a school where your children develop convictions which enable them to
make a difference in the world.

June 18, 2017 The Body and Blood of
Christ “Amen, amen, I say to you,
unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have
life within you.” —John 6:53
There have always been divisions among people, including God’s people. But we have access to a
unique source of unity: the Eucharist. In the act of breaking bread and drinking from the one cup, our
relationship to one another is strengthened. Through this Eucharistic celebration we are continually
reminded that we are truly members of one body — His body.
Holy Father’s Prayer Intentions for June National Leaders
That National Leaders may firmly commit themselves to ending the arms trade, which victimizes so many
innocent people.
