Croatian Seismological Service - milestones
• 1985 Croatian goverment promotes: Law on seismological activity.Therewith Croatian Seismological Service was founded in a frame of Geophysical Institute of Faculty of Science.- 8 Seismologists, (Today 6)- 3 Seismic stations (ZAG, PTJ, HVAR)
• 1989 Modern broadband digital seismographs were installed atstations ZAG, HVA and DBK.
• 2015 The data of 16 ordinari public seismological stations and of 7 temporary stations are on dispose in CSS. 1970 1975 1980 1985 1990 1995 2000 2005 2010 2015

ESTABLISHING SEISMIC STATION IN ZAGREB - CROATIA
• Seismograph Vicentini-Konkoly was installed on april 4. 1906, so the seismological station Zagreb came into existence. Only two weeks later on
april 18 1906 the S. Francisco earthquake was recorded. Mohorovičić’s analiysis of that record (left).
