Counting Teacher/Staff FTE Employees
For example, you have 2,000 full-time faculty, 3,000 part-time faculty, 1,000 full-time staff, and 1,000 part-time staff. The FTE employee count is calculated as follows:
2,000 + (3000 3) + 1,000 + (1000 2) = 4,500 FTE employees
