THE 2018 DANCEWORKS DANCELAB // DANCEWORKS ON TAP:
A note from Artistic Director, Amy Brinkman - SustacheTo me, tap dance is freedom of speech. To try and not repeat oneself. Then to try to repeat oneself. To listen and to have a conversation. I am forever thankful for the dancers of DOT who have provided and continue to provide abundant inspiration, enthusiasm and so many joyful conversations with their feet. I feel honored to be able to do my part in promoting tap dance by teaching its history, preserving its percussive style and recognizing it as a cherished American art form. Thank you to all of you for being here and for your continued support of DOT. I hope you enjoy Tapology!
