• Process of planning and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency or productivity

at least 15min a day. Multiply that by 365days per year and that amounts to 3.8days a year of non productive days

PHONE
• Set times for making and receiving phone calls.
• Call people just before lunch or near the end of the work day so that the conversation is kept short.
• Eliminate small talk. Ask the caller, “what can I do for you?” to get past the small talk and to the point of the call.

Family Obligation
• Remind your family members of your working hours/environment and seek for their understanding to have discussions about anything apart from emergency issues after working hours. This will also encourage your family members to contact you only when there is an emergency

VISITORS
• Use body language to discourage interruptions. Turn your head, but not your whole body, toward the visitors. Use signals such as glancing at your watch or the clock.

• Avoid going in group because you will tend to talk more than you eat
• Remind yourself to limit your lunch to just 60minutes, make your plans ahead
