IAE Modernization Timeline

IAE Modernization - Why “Beta”?
●beta.SAM.gov launched Q4 FY17, now operational
●Current operational systems will run in parallel with the beta site and will remain the authoritative sources until they’re decommissioned
● beta.SAM.gov will eventually become SAM.gov

Contract Data (FPDS) Reporting
● Only FPDS Reports are being retired - FPDS will remain the authoritative for SEARCH and DATA ENTRY
● New reporting tool MicroStrategy will be accessible through the Data Bank area of beta.SAM.gov
● Static and Standard report requirements are the same as they were in FPDS.gov
● Ad Hoc reports now have “wizard” and “build your own” capabilities
● Conversion for existing Ad Hoc reports from FPDS.gov to beta.SAM.gov completed with 85% success rate
