Thisenthusiasmisnotoftensupportedbyempiricalstudiesaboutthecitizen’sperceptionofpublicsectortrustworthiness.

AsErmischandGambetta(2016)argued,«trustandtrustworthinessarenotionsnotaddressedin

general,butreferredtoaspecificcontextandrelationship.»

Wecoulddetecttrustonly“inaction”.
