The prosecution of many prominentdruggists of Washington for an allegedviolation of law in selling adulteratedolive oil came up for consideration at aspecial meeting of the District Association of Retail Druggists this morning atSOS I street northwest By practically-a unanimous vote It was decided thatthe association should defend In everyway possible the cases of such members as have been charged with violations of this law
Dr A C Taylor the president calledthe meeting to order at 1030 oclock andat some length discussed the matter forwhich the druggists were called together There was little dissent fromthe opinion that retail druggists of thiscity should as a unit defend thoseupon whom warrants have been servedon no other ground than what the druggists term a technicality
Criticises Health DepartmentSeveral members during the course of
their remarks took occasion to hammerthe District Health Department for Itsaction in furnishing information whichwas the basis for the warrants servedupon the druggists The associationby a large vote decided upon the
