I have my master’s degree in Elementary Education and am certified to teach the Academically Gifted. I taught at Fuller GT for several years and I am very familiar with the magnet setting. I'm so excited to be back into the magnet setting again at Hunter.
Ms. WootenWelcome to the school year! I love teaching math and science and this year is my 21st year in fifth grade at Hunter. My teaching philosophy includes project-based and inquiry-based instruction with the integration of technology. Making connections to the real world is vital to a firm understanding of the math and science content. My certifications include K-6 education, AIG, and middle school mathematics. I received my undergraduate degrees from Meredith College and Master’s degree (Curriculum and Instruction: Development and Supervision) from NC State. http://carolwooten.weebly.com
