Allowing ChoicesHow can we facilitate student choice in this essay contest?
K-5th GradeTeachers provide students models of heroes through online resources, literature and informational texts so that students have a choice in selecting the (topic) of their opinion essay.
6th – 12th GradeTeachers allow students to conduct research on different heroes to write an essay supporting their claim.
*Students have a choice of writing their essays or developing a digital presentation!
