Erasmus Mundus so far
• More than 1,300 HEIs (45% Eur; 55% non Eur)
• More than 30,000 scholarships (students, young researchers, scholars and univ. staff; + than 90% non Eur)
• More than 75% of the top ranked EU HEIs are involved in EM.
• Budget of approx. 1 billion euros for the 2009-2013 period

What is an EM Joint Programme?
An integrated programme at masters (1 to 2 years) or doctoral (3 to 4 years) level
Jointly designed, delivered and managed by a consortium of HEIs representing at least 3 different EU/EEA countries and, optionally, non EUR HEIs;
That includes a mandatory mobility component;
That is fully recognised and leads to the award of a double, multiple or joint degree;
That aims at attracting the best students, doctoral candidates and scholars, worldwide
