WELCOME
Warmly,
DENIZ ATAMANManaging Editor,Perfumer & Flavorist magazineConference Director, World Perfumery [email protected]
The South of France—birthplace of modern perfumery—will play host to the 2018 World Perfumery Congress, a multi-day conference and expo exploring the future of fragrance. Presented by the American Society of Perfumers and produced by Perfumer & Flavorist, this year’s event will offer extensive networking and educational opportunities, as well as an interactive Expo Hall featuring the latest innovations shaping 21st century perfumery.
World-class EducationKeynote and conference presentations will offer insights from
brand leaders, ingredient experts and chemists, market data analysts and more, in addition to a special awards ceremony on the closing day. And a new series of lunch hour talks, Petit WPC, will tackle key issues facing the industry.
Master Perfumer Workshops, meanwhile, will feature a selection of the greatest scent creators in the world discussing their art in an intimate educational setting.
Interactive ExpoThis year’s Expo will offer inspiration and resources for
perfumers, chemists, marketers and product developers, including ingredients, packaging and sampling, equipment and manufacturing resources and logistics services.
We have also added select Marketing Trails that showcase the newest fragrance ingredients and trend-driven innovation from around the world, including new ingredients that have never before been shown publicly, natural materials, sustainability and biotech breakthroughs, on-trend wellness ingredients and concepts, and more.
In addition, a range of global artists have contributed fragrance-inspired artwork for a unique Expo showcase marrying creativity, science and beauty.
NetworkingThe 2018 WPC will bring together top management and decision
makers from the largest fragrance houses and brands as well as small and midsize innovators in the industry. Network with them at the Welcome Cocktail Reception, Expo Hall Happy Hours, and the Closing Gala Reception and After Party.
So please come join us in Nice in 2018, where fragrance heritage, art and cutting-edge innovation meet.

Obtain a “Letter of Invitation”The World Perfumery Congress cannot assist you with the interview process, nor can anyone
representing the WPC call the embassy or consulate on your behalf to provide support for granting a visa.
If you are denied a visitor visa, you may reapply if there is new evidence to overcome the basis for the refusal. In the absence of new evidence, consular officers are not required to re-examine such cases.
To obtain a letter of Invitation from the World Perfumery Congress, please e-mail Jamie Condon after you have received a registration confirmation.
B Network is the only official housing and registration company, and is partnered with WPC event organizers. Any other company positioning itself as a WPC housing partner is illegitimate, and the offer is potentially a scam.
